What
makes
FlashCopier
so powerful?
The FlashCopier consists of
three key components:
the computer, the USB
multiplexer and the FlashCopier software.
The computer, equipped
with powerful
Intel multi-core CPU and
operated by Windows XP
Professional, has been
customized to work with
the unique built-in USB
multiplexer and
optimized specially to
run the FlashCopier
software.
The USB
multiplexer, embedded
with the latest
developments in USB
technology,
provides high
bandwidth data bus,
allowing data to flow
into more than a
hundred of flash cards
at speed of
400Mbps simultaneously.
The FlashCopier
software, utilizing
Microsoft Windows
multi-tasking and
advanced .NET Framework
multi-threading programming
technologies, makes
duplications of flash
cards fast and easy!
Among the three key
components, there is no
doubt; It is the
FlashCopier
software, working as
the controller of the
whole system, that makes
FlashCopier a powerful,
reliable and
cost-efficient tool for
duplications of
all flash cards.
Here is a
screen shot of the
powerful FlashCopier
software:

As
you can see, the
software can accommodate
as many as 147 flash
cards at a time as long
as the computer is
powerful enough to
handle them. With a
single button click you
can copy all the files
from the master folder
to all flash cards on
the list; or delete all
files on all cards, or
format all cards in just
a few seconds. You can
even set or remove the
volume labels on the fly
too! Should you miss out
a file in the master
folder, or should you
wish to make some
changes to files in the
master folder after
having copied everything
in the master
folder, you could
just add the file and/or
make the changes and
then just check "Copy
new and/or newer
files(s) only" check box
and copy again, Flash
copier will copy only
the newly added or
modified files without
wasting time for
re-copying every file
that is already on the
cards. Files newly
modified in the master
folder will replace the
older files that are
already on the cards
when copying.
The
software displays all
important information
for each flash card such
as its file system,
capacity, available free
space and the space that
is in use. It also
verifies every file
copied against the
master at both Command
(checksum) and OS level
(file integrity) to
ensure that an exact
image of the same master
files is on each card.
The Activity Log logs
results of every step
performed
and highlights all
important
information including
any errors should them
occur. A session
report can also be saved
and printed for later
references.
Who needs FlashCopier?
Flash cards have
gained popularity in the
past few years. They are
small and extremely
portable. However,
they are 'big' in terms
of capacity. You
have already seen 32GB
USB flash cards in
stores and 32GB SD cards
will be soon available.
32GB in such small
sizes, that's about 7
times of a DVD, 50 times
of a CD and 23,000 times
of a old floppy disk. As
the cost of flash cards
drops dramatically, you
will see more and more
electronic contents on
those tiny flash cards.
It can contain a thick
book, a long HD movie,
hundreds of songs or
thousands of pictures.
That's not all!
Businesses
are pre-loading their
marketing materials,
product demos
and catalogues in these
flash cards and giving
them away in
trade shows; school
teachers are putting
class material, homework
assignments and even
text books on USB drives
and distribute them to
students; content
publishers and device
manufacturers are
pre-loading MP3 songs,
electronic books and
commercial video and
business applications
onto these flash cards.
You will see and
probably use more
of these flash cards
yourself soon.
In summary, no matter if
your are a content
publisher, a media
distributor, a school
teacher, a small
business owner or a
corporate executive,
sooner or later you will
find that it is more
cost-effective to put
your product
catalogues, your
employee manuals or your
financial statements to
shareholders on
these tiny flash cards
instead of on paper. And
you will find it is
handy that you have a
FlashCopier in your
business just like you
have paper copy machines
down your hall way.
